About Us

Merj was born from a shared challenge and a passion for innovation. We met during the Apple Developer Academy, a 7-month program where we were mentored by experts in design, project management, and technology. With complementary skill sets and a mission to empower women in tech, we formed an all-women team to develop Merj.

We’ve all experienced the frustration of collecting and organizing references—especially in creative fields. The process is messy, inefficient, and time-consuming. Two of our team members, both creative directors, struggled to find an existing solution that truly addressed this pain point. So, we built Merj to solve it.

Our vision is to become the most intuitive SaaS platform for creatives to seamlessly collect, organize, and share their references. Our commitment to this vision has been recognized beyond our team—Apple Developer Academy spotlighted Merj as one of the most impactful apps tackling a real yet often overlooked problem.
